We made it through January, what a cold and snowy month! A few things have been added to our calendar that we hope you will enjoy.
Wed. 1st 1pm Book Club
MWF: 9:30 Maj Jong
Fri. 3rd 1 pm Painting continues each Fri. of February
Mon. 6th 12:30 pm Bridge continues each Mon
Wed. 8th 1pm Dr. Blake Clifton (Alpine Orthopedics) and Total Joint Replacements -Dr. David Elfenbein (Griggs Orthopedics)
Friday 10th 5:30 Potluck Bring a dish to share and if you are willing a dozen cookies for the Sweetheart Ball Saturday the 11th. Please bring in a none returnable package and they will be put on platters at the Ball. Then stay to hear George Sibley talk about newspapers that informed our valley years ago.
Wed 22nd Aromatherapy 1pm Betsy Holena from the Senior Resource center will enlighten you about this topic.
The senior center is still in need of TV trays and card tables in good condition. Let us know if you would like to donate some.
- Provide a physical location where seniors can drop in for coffee and companionship during day time hours.
- Staffed by volunteers
- Work in cooperation with the Community Center and other community organizations.
- Organize events, outings, social gatherings, and physical activities to keep seniors engaged.
- Obtain funds to continue to provide programs.
Turn east off of Hwy 135 on to Spencer Ave. Between Walmart and True Value. The Community Center will be two blocks back on the left.
