Spring Born Inc
Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership (GGP) is an educational 501(c)3 that is “growing food and community with local energy.” This exciting Pagosa-style botanic park, at 80 South 5th Street in downtown Pagosa on the San Juan River Walk, is truly a partnership. The Town of Pagosa Springs leases to the nonprofit its site and ample geothermal heat for GGP’s three year-round dome greenhouses – the Education, Community Garden and Innovation Domes. GGP volunteers continue to landscape the west end of Centennial Park.
GGP educates all ages, serving hundreds of school-aged children each year. The volunteer- and membership-driven organization produces two main annual fundraisers - the Environmental Film Festival in the spring and the Colorfest Breakfast with Balloons in the fall.
