The Gunnison Chamber Foundation

Supporting downtown vitality through façade grants and community investment.

The Gunnison Chamber Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to support projects that strengthen the long-term vitality of Gunnison’s business community and downtown district.

While the Gunnison Country Chamber of Commerce focuses on advocacy, membership, and business support, the Foundation provides a charitable structure for community investment. Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

The Foundation’s initial focus is downtown façade and placemaking initiatives. These efforts are intended to support visible improvements to storefronts and shared spaces, enhance the character of Main Street, and encourage reinvestment in Gunnison’s historic core.

At this time, all donated funds are allocated directly to façade grants and related downtown improvement projects. Administrative support is provided separately to maximize the impact of each contribution.

Downtown is the heart of our community. By investing in its appearance, function, and vibrancy, we support local businesses, property owners, residents, and visitors alike.

The Foundation operates with its own Board of Directors and maintains separate financial oversight.
