BALLOON RALLY

The Gunnison Balloon Rally is an annual community event centered on hot air balloon launches at sunrise from Jorgensen Park around the Fourth of July. Weather permitting, pilots lift off in the early morning hours, filling the sky with color and drawing residents and visitors together for a shared summer tradition. Free to attend, the rally has become a long standing part of Gunnison’s seasonal calendar and a quiet, early morning way to mark the holiday weekend.
