BUSINESS AFTER HOURS

Business After Hours are intentionally designed as more than casual networking. Hosted by Chamber members and open to the broader community, these informal evening events bring together local businesses, nonprofits, and community partners in a welcoming, social setting. Each Business After Hours highlights a featured nonprofit, which is invited to briefly share its mission, programs, and ways to get involved. Events typically include light food and beverages provided by the host, time for open networking, and occasional business or organizational highlights such as tours or short introductions. The intent of Business After Hours is to strengthen connections between local businesses and community organizations across the Gunnison Valley, while having fun along the way.


Business After Hours are held quarterly, creating consistent opportunities for connection without overloading busy schedules.


Chamber members may contact the Chamber to express interest in hosting a Business After Hours event. Hosts may select a nonprofit to feature or request assistance from the Chamber in making a connection, and events may be held at either the host’s business location or at a venue associated with the featured nonprofit. The cost to host is $300, which includes event marketing, promotional materials, and the required liquor license. Hosts provide the venue, food, and beverages.


Business After Hours are typically held on Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Events are open to the broader community and are designed to be informal, accessible, and easy to participate in.



Businesses interested in hosting a Business After Hours event may contact the Chamber Director to express interest. Hosting opportunities are scheduled based on availability and overall program needs.
